Flex your design might and help us create the best trophy in esport
We’ve partnered with Arkan Cosplay for ÜBERFEST 2026. Between them, us and you, we will create the best esport trophy that’s ever existed.
Who are Arkan Cosplay?
Arkan Cosplay are the incredibly creative French team responsible for some cool props for TF2 and other games (yes, other games do exist. I know, I was as shocked as you are). You may have seen their work before either as the backdrop for TFConnect or as set pieces at ÜBERFEST 2025. Their work is also the cornerstone of many of Shork’s Meet the real Mercs videos.
Arkan assures us that they are able to create (almost) anything you could possibly imagine, so don’t hold back in your designs. The more details you can bring the better the your project will stand out and ultimately the greater your chances of being chosen.
Don’t worry if you’re not able to describe every last bit though as there’s bound to be a few challenges bringing your idea to life. However, we may need to make a few additional changes of our own to your design to make it really work as a trophy.
How to Join in / Prizes
The first step is to visit the KritzKast Discord server. Here you’ll find a detailed instructions. Everything from creating or finding a team to join – all the way through to working on your design ideas and submitting them for our review. We’ve even put together an instructional video for you to follow:
This design event contest will run from 1st to 31st May 2026. The last entry you pin in your design thread will be the one that your submission is judged on.
Our hope is that small teams will form, and work together. There are (almost) no restrictions on what makes for a good design. However the broader the skills and more detailed the design, the easier it will be for us to see your vision.
The winning entry will be decided by KritzKast and Arkan Cosplay together, sometime after 31st May. Then developed fully into an actual physical trophy to be displayed during ÜBERFEST 2026 LAN, and finally presented to the winning esport team.
Arkan Cosplay will create mini versions of the trophy to award to all members of the design team (not the guests though). In addition, all members of the winning design team, as well as anyone who’s idea was used to inform the final design, will each receive a Vintage Lo-Fi Longwave hat in-game. All winning team members will be granted access to the exclusive Commissions Channel on the KritzKast Discord server.
ÜBERFEST Contests
This will be our 2nd major ÜBERFEST community contest. The first was in honour of the the original TF2 propaganda poster contest. We asked creatives to design posters in service of either RED Bonk, BLU Bonk or Jarate. In the end many winners were chosen from over 300 entries. All of which have been preserved on their own discord channel.
Along with the winning posters, tee shirts were created to celebrate the three liquids on offer at ÜBERFEST, all are available at our merch store for you to enjoy on your walls, torso or wherever you wish to deploy them.
New this year, in celebration of this contest, is Maxx Shortt’s TRIUMPH OF CREATION. A 18″ x 12″ desk mat, depicting the mercs having a crack at putting together their own design.
