Virus

Sorry to disappoint, but the Captain Pugwash thing is a myth. Nought but bilge and hornswaggle, lads. Characters called “Master Bates” and “Seaman Staines” sadly do not exist and never did. The closest thing was a “Master Mate”. And uh, a “Willy”. Two newspapers printed the myth as fact in the 90s and were successfully sued for libel by the series creator, so be careful what claims you make on the air 😉
